Similar to what Latham said.
Meanwhile, former Labor leader Mark Latham has weighed into the debate over the party's inner machinations in a rare interview today.
Speaking on Sky News, Mr Latham said the party was driven by the polls and there was no loyalty left.
"[A] number of the class of 2007... all elected on the coat tails of Kevin Rudd in 2007, apparently just deserted him," he said.
"It just proves in the Labor Party there is no loyalty to the leader.
"It's a poll-driven party. There's very little that'll happen in the next couple of months that will be about programs and hard decisions in the national interest."

It will be ironical if the ALP don't win the next election despite the change.
