Other posters, especially DNPE, have spelt out the many uses of Antimony, and while we await details of NAG's assays, it's worth noting that worldwide demand for Antimony has been increasing substantially in recent months.

Although much of the focus has been on increasing demand for flame retardation and 'green energy' projects such as battery storage and wind and hydro turbines, there has been a concomitant increase in demand for use in ceramics, glass, chemicals and Polyethylene Terephthalate products, and an even greater increase in demand for military applications (munitions, lasers, detonators, night vision goggles, smoke agents, etc.)

With the ongoing war in Ukraine, and the extensive re-armament occurring in many countries as global tensions escalate, the military demand is expected to continue and increase. Having served as a commissioned officer in the ADF, I have been taking a particular interest in the military applications for Antimony.

As far as I'm aware, we have only two Australian owned and listed companies with any significant Stibnite/Antimony deposits in Australia (NAG and BC8), and while the size and grades of these deposits is as yet unknown, it appears very likely that both of these companies are going to become the focus of considerable attention as the Antimony supply side tightens and the demand side expands at an increasing pace.
