Of course I’ve made a loss in the past . 30 plus years in the market teaches you a lot tho and the markets have been kind over the last few years .
I never buy what I cannot afford to hold
If you “believe” in a stock then surely you should hold ( falling in love or believing is something I rarely do ) .
Taking pride in selling a loser to offer set a gain purely to “beat the tax man “ is odd .
Hold it if you “ believe “ not just so you can offset your tax .
The trend in RAC has been telling since Feb or so
