Should there be an election next week, who would you vote for?

Right now, I'm not keen on either of the them.

Would Tony Abbot really be better for our economy? There has been long held assumption (based on results), that the Liberals know how to manage money and the Labour Party know how to manage people.

This view that many of us hold has had more to do with timing of their term than anything else!

What will or can Tony Abbot do if the DOW drops 1000 points next week that is different to Julia Gillard?

In reality if global markets are to be weak, there is nothing that any of these guys can do to avoid following overseas markets.

The Liberals have been fortunate enough in the past to be around during good times. It's logical to assume that they can help 'manage' our economy better through what may lay ahead.

Work choices was a silly idea because many employers exploited their employees. It made little difference to may organisations who respected their workers/staff.

They say you can't count on a politicians word, true that. When asked whether she would ever consider challenging Kevin Rudd for the leadership, Julia Gillard said the following, each on different occasions.

    1) That she was more likely to get a call from Steven Spielberg to ask her if she would star beside Brad Pitt in his next big action movie

    2) that she was more likely to fly to Mars! (we'll work on that one)

    and

    3) She was more likely to be offered a forward position for the Bulldogs AFL team

All of these highly animated and exaggerated comments attract little respect.
