Isn't the SP a reflection of a company's performance? If after 12 months (during which they started producing) the SP is lower, should they be judged on that? If the shorters are manipulating then they're being encouraged to do so by a lack of information. Anns are coming out at 1/3 the rate of last year. Are they really doing so little that nothing demands reporting? Heck, it doesn't even have to be price sensitive. The info blackout is utterly baffling.
Gareth may have a good resume, but he has never been a CEO before. Personally, I think this is a gamble that hasn't paid off - he may be better suited to a COO role. It might be time to bring in an experienced mining CEO that has done this before. Didn't we already have one of those?
