the people RAC returned capital to were exiting shareholders (or those reducing their position)… unless you think we’d be trading lower without the buyback, the trolls like @Stickshift have a good point on this one.
I agree the money shouldn’t be spent on exec perks - but maybe just retained in case there were some delays in trial recruitment or perhaps employing new globally awesome staff or other unforeseen events.
