And what's with the discrete "previous finance connections" reference? He was a senior creep at Goldman Sachs for more than five years, no more no less, the same outfit that seems to have had two goes in recent times at crashing the lithium price. There are investment bankers and then there is the Vampire Squid. And nothing he said in that interview is stuff I've not heard before: just a cold-call encyclopedia salesman, again, no more no less. I reckon the dearth of questions he got at the end was likely because participants would have realised that this was a snow job and any answer given would be all spiel and floss.

"...the harsh reality is that Livent is angling to take over Allkem's assets" - is that a problem given that we will be shareholders in the combined entity once the merger is complete (with AKE shareholders owning MergeCo in a 56 to 44 ownership ratio)?
