WHY?? So more property investors are forced to sell.

I have been posting on these threads for the last month, that areas which I monitor on a daily basis.
Suddenly had a larger and larger amount of tenanted properties on the market.
I have never seen anything like this before and I owned my own R.Estate business until a few years ago.

All this nonsense about greedy landlords etc etc.
Well many and more to come are running for the exits.

Where are all these tenants going to live, I can say with confidence that very few investors are now buying.
Barely any new homes are being built. Thousands of immigrants are coming in.

And Smart Alecs are still making remarks about cutting negative gearing, freezing rents, withdrawing CGT discounts and now increasing land tax.
I hate to say this, but in 6 months to a years time, there will be tragic numbers of homeless people.

Then perhaps the whiners will wake up and finally understand, why incentives are vital for investors,
They were put there fo a purpose, to provide housing. The government need to provide public housing for low income people.
But I do hope that you understand that this will be funded by taxpayers.

We are holding in there on our properties, even though I do believe that values will drop, as we do not wish to cause more homelessness. Yes rents have been increasing, but apart from even higher interest rates, the maintenance and repair costs, apart from rates etc are becoming untenable.
The minute rent freezes are announced though, we will be forced to sell along with the few remaining investors.

Some will say, ah then renters can buy, maybe a few can. But the majority will be unable to. Tent city here we come.
