It is an unfortunate fact of life that when you slaughter an animal for human consumption there is blood and guts to deal with.
Every cattleman wants their cattle to suffer the least stress possible. When the scandal over Indonesian cattle broke many years ago (clearly the cattle were suffering Ketosis) the manager of the local meatworks made an interesting comment. “Animals have no concept of death and their future as they move up the knocking box because they have never experienced it before”.
We will always fight for the welfare of our cattle.
