Yes, it seems rather odd that a director would sell even partial holdings so close to a price sensitive announcement. It is his money but in this market of uncertainties and very subdued pricing it seems a rather odd time to sell. They do get paid rather handsomely so why not buy instead and sell when prices hopefully recover??
It will be interesting to see just what exactly is in the announcement but hopefully sp will start heading where many are wishing for - for me that's up.
