Assay results were slated to come out soon from pre collars - 7+ weeks after suspected drilling which is about good practice these days.
XRF is proving reasonable for REE elements in a qualitative way. Believe Nb is quite reliable but don't have any definitive source. [may have been a comment on WA1 site - anyone confirm?]
Another aspect of Pxrf is the ability to characterise lithology to some extent. There are probably elements that can be used to define carbonatites from other lithologies even when highly weathered. Did use this for logging help years ago so should be improved by now if not definitive.
