Everyone has their own motivations for investing. But regardless of those motives, investing in a company helps allow it to deliver its products and services. Invest your money in guns and tobacco, and regardless of your motivation, you are helping supply the market with those goods. Invest in a company providing healthcare to children, and you are helping those children. Even if I lose all my money, I am glad some of it was used to provide Remestemcel free of charge to children.
