That's true Wombat, particularly with Gov't Ministers and Comminiere that have been and still are having active dialogue with Zijin. Their lawyers must be working frantically to align the stories of all parties involved in order for these Ministers to maintain their Public image. Liars and thieves generally cave in when dragged out into the open and pressure is applied. So let's see who caves in and who else is exposed. Will the DRC impose sanctions and on who? That time is fast approaching and the action taken by AVZ to bring this to a head must be applauded. AVZ and its shareholders will not be denied or ignored as you say. The DRC accepted us to come forward and conduct our exploration activities, document the assessment of our findings and negotiate offtake agreements that all aim to prove the worth of this resource and ultimately its mining life. Our shareholders have committed millions to this cause and not at any time did the DRC not intend for us to push forward and bring this project to reality. In fact, they even recognised our commitment by appointing AVZ to the Battery Council.
So AVZ has every right to name All the DRC Gov't officials concerned and drag them into the fight, because no decisions are forthcoming that allow us to push forward. The DRC's own inactions point towards guilty by association and collaboration. We can only thank the IGF report for exposing the corruption and naming the parties who have been involved and thought to deny AVZ its Mining Licence and the ownership rights it has contracts in place for. Let alone the delay that has been caused denying the DRC people from benefitting from an improved economy and community infrastructure.

But lets face it, going forward, what we know is Zijin has no direct participation in any negotiations. If they happen to contest their claim in Court and the IGF evidence is tabled their actions will be labelled as underhanded and illegal. They could even be liable for massive fines and international condemnation. Their Lawyers know this, hence the deferment of the hearing. They will not want this to proceed to a contested hearing.
We can only assume there is something happening in the background to which we have no intel (through lack of public information). Zijin is also aware of something going on. Further, what we learned out of the IGF REPORT Zijin hasn't paid up for the remaining money they put forward as a deposit for the 15% they allegedly acquired from Comminiere. The transaction for the balance of the 15% would surely have passed its settlement date. This has to come out at some point and imo they will soon be advised to withdraw all action.

IMO this saga has to be resolved before September. This has now become the compelling date for decision. FT has no chance of election success beyond this time and if he is to maintain his Public Image and reputation an outcome must be reached that ensures All court cases are withdrawn, AVZ is issued with its ML and has its ownership status confirmed. This is the best outcome for the DRC in the eyes of encouraging further international investment and FT knows this.
