Yep quite day and i still enjoy reading about tls develpments. As posted tls has 3 divisions fixed,mobile and telstra purple IT,forget energy and health.
So this partnership described as Quantium Telstra has been planned but apparently only implemented approx 6 months ago.
Quantium appears to be a high tech co that provides information to various global transport co's.DHL etc listed on their website. Telstra provides i guess their global network of fixed,5g mobile ,cloud etc but importantly tls mentions tls purple andits 2000 tech experts. It sounds like a solid partnership better than the enterprise book customer. This has plenty of global POI telco partners tls china infrastructure ,agreements to access china mobile 5g and the other china mobile co.
As posted only tls mobile makes a profit,but if above as in 'Quantum Telstra' is the first of such partnership then this i feel will start 'maybe'producing profits for tls's global fixed division and tls purple.? The question will be can tls provide the customer service quatium requires. Should be interesting if the partnership is mentioned by Vicky as imo that will confirm whether this is material or not.and its all about AI etc.
