    Robert F. Kennedy Jr recently declared he will run as a candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

    for the past few years he's been one of the so-called 'dirty dozen' an informal grouping of antivaxx warriors and BS artists from whose internet sites some 70% of antivaxx postings on social media are said to originate.

    as a result, Kennedy and some others like him have sown biblical scale lies, misinformation, disinformation and garbage about covid-19 and its vaccines, playing an outsize role in the disastrous public health response to the emergency in the US and elsewhere.

    he was thus reviled by millions around the world.

    macro economist David Stockman summarised some of the media reporting of Kennedy's decision to run in a piece published June 26 in his daily newsletter.

    Remember Kennedy was revered by many of the antivaxx muppets and twerps who populated HC's covid threads.

    in his article, Stockman noted the New York Times didn't start to diss Trump on the day eight years ago when he announced he was running until the 17th paragraph.

    STOCKMAN:

    "Eight years later the Times attacked Bobby Kennedy in the very first sentence of the story: quote“Robert F Kennedy Jr” the paper declared “announced a presidential campaign on Wednesday built on relitigating covid-19 shutdowns and shaking Americans faith in science?”

    "Shaking Americans faith in science – imagine if you’re an ordinary New York Times subscriber reading that over coffee in your pre-war rent-controlled duplex on Columbus Avenue. You’d think Bobby Kennedy just declared war on the enlightenment: ”my fellow Americans I have come to shake your faith in science. Join me as I drag our nation back to the medieval period.”You’d be appalled;

    "CBS News viewers likely were appalled in its coverage of Kennedy’s announcement.

    "CBS denounced the candidates views as “misleading and dangerous.”

    "The LA Times called him “a threat to democracy.

    "At the offices of national public radio in Washington a full-blown Category 5 hysteria typhoon broke out. NPR devoted an entire segment to savaging Kennedy not just as a candidate but as a human being. NPR described him as someone who – for his own perverse reasons – has made “debunked and false and misleading claims that undermine trust in vaccines and who in his spare time provides moral support to crazed extremists Who rally under the banner of what they call Liberty or freedom.

    "People magazine didn’t even bother to report a single word of anything Kennedy said at his announcement and instead wrote an entire story about how his relatives hate him. Kennedy’s younger sister Carrie, the magazine reported solemnly, does not approve of Bobby Jr’s harmful views… his harmful views..."
