I noticed a few years ago at the local COL store that they virtually eliminated all the BGA product range in the dairy section, anything left was at the bottom of the shelf. Not sure if it was a local supply issue but I do recall there was some tension around contract negotiations at that time. Slowly the shelves are getting a better showing of BGA products so things are improving. So the pricing power argument I would say is 50/50 big retailers can just stop buying BGA product and that hurts the bottom line, luckily IGA supported the local producer so bought from there instead.
