Just because they banned gas stoves and now want to shut down wood and coal fired pizza ovens there is no reason to panic. Yes, I do understand that the bubbles in beer is the next target, and I do understand that invaluable art is being destroyed by the glue and paint self appointed police, but we elected all those representatives. Didn't we?
Jokes aside I actually think more and more people are starting to put the foot down. Things are just getting to stupid. I am all for balanced energy transitioning and I am all for respecting everybody no matter from what walk of life they chose.
We gave up on the scientific method when Harvard created the MBA and it became a matter of consultancy over engineering and skilled craftsmanship. Now all you need is a lengthy academic title and no experience backed by the McKinsey's of the world. It has eroded the trust in authorities and I hope it will be better balanced, but as I have said before it is not necessarily based on logic when policies are designed.
