I've then bordered a neighbouring tenement (830839/2019) in green (as this tenement appears to have our lithium corridor running through it potentially.

There are docos on the mining agency website showing there are activities to put exploration plans in place for Lithium on the tenement. The landholder is a private owner and is perhaps playing hardball and wants to explore on his own and then sell to the highest bidder.

Apart from the exploration plans, the owner of the mining rights for this green border tenement has been a naughty boy and has not paid his annual fees to the mining agency. Below in bold is verbage from a letter form his lawyers to the mining agency a month ago playing the victim and saying the non payment was 'due to Covid' - Southpark reference anyone? I think his rights to the tenement may now be in question due to non payment.

"Due to serious health problems that affected the Mining Right Holder during the covid-19 pandemic, the Annual Fees per Hectare - TAH were not paid on the scheduled dates, and collection processes were initiated - ANM/SEI Processes No. 48054.930919 /2020-82 and 48054.933086/2021-92, for the imposition of a fine and collection of amounts due by way of penalty and payment of said fees. It so happens that the Mining Right Holder was not duly aware of the collection processes, becoming aware of the application of penalties only when he spontaneously sought to regularize the payment of TAHs with the ANM."
