re: Ann: Encouraging First Results for Study ... It's been five months since the first samples from Wonarah were supposedly shipped to prospective buyers in India and new Zealand, but were discovered to be contaminated. No-one actually enlightened us whether the shipments reached their destinations or not, and no-one bothered to enlighten us as to the contaminant/s. I believe this issue which has delayed possible contracts significantly has not been addressed openly or in sufficient detail.

Reading about the Namibian preliminary results and the fixation on contaminant gangue in their announcement, can we assume that the samples that left Darwin in February were not of the purity we were led to believe? We have been ensured in a number of presentations that the phosphate from Wonarah had very low levels of Uranium and Cadmium both substances having deleterious effect on agricultural usage. Secondly, since this discovery was made public in April, it has taken months to send a second shipment. Surely the New Zealand recipients would have had time to assess their options by now. As nothing happens quickly in India it is not surprising we haven't heard back from them, and have they sent any samples to China? It gets mentioned a lot.

Though the Namibian phosphate is reported to be of a poorer quality than what the NT provides, it is encouraging that they can land it for $26/tonne and therefore should be able to make a reasonable margin and quite quickly. To quote the source... " 2011 all going well".

Patience isn't one of my strongest virtues and the disappointing delays due to "contamination and shipping of samples", the fall in the SP to ridiculous lows, and negativity in global sentiment that is currently running wild, have possible contributed to this somewhat critical post.

Long term it is difficult not to see Mm's coming out on top.
