Anyone selling today is guaranteeing tax to be paid to Mr ATO within the next few months.
Postponing selling to Monday or after means no tax for 12+ months.
In my mind, I would think there's more chance of heavy selling next week (take profit, free up cash, zero tax obligations for more than 12 months and the capital can be redeployed as needed immediately).
