Ukrainian forces are now so week they were unable to launch any significant offensive action during last week's Wagner "coup" even though US intelligence had advance notice.
No-one will truely win this conflict given the loss of life and systematic destruction of Ukraine's critical infrastructure and depopulation however it's been evident for a number of months that the Ukrainian armed forces are no longer capable of launching any meaningful offensive action.
I was hopeful both parties would be forced to the negotiating table soon however I think the US government strongly encouraged by the powerful defence industry lobbyists will try and keep this conflict going indefinitely so there are some very powerful forces at play.
