I’ve done my research on Dropsuite as well.
My previous career was in IT and I used products like Dropsuite on a daily basis.
I’ve been keeping a close eye on a competitor that I used as well - Veeam for Office 365.
It’s a direct competitor with over 5000 employees, specialising in backup software. They are starting to focus more and more on backup for Office 365 (core revenue pillar for Dropsuite) and already have 14m users.
Veeam is the gold standard of backup (it’s like IBM in the old days - you would never get fired to choosing them).
Veeam’s pricing is similar to Dropsuite (US$1.7 per user per month), product is more flexible and is completely free for smaller customers (up to 10 accounts).
