    To replay a previous critical point;

    The incidence of Foetal Alcohol Syndrome disorder (FASD) is much higher (medically diagnosed)
    than for non-Aboriginal cohorts. 100,000's of them severely affected. Due to this many Aboriginal people are subject to irrational and explosive outburst,
    particularly under the effect of alcohol, resulting in greater incidents of violence
    higher incidence of diagnosed brain trauma from violent behaviours.

    They are never going to get better - they can't be fixed, the damage was done before birth, and now they have a lifelong tendancy to be explosive. This means that we have to now try to "babysit" these victims for another 30-40 yrs, with social workers, doctor, mental health workers and nurses. This will cost billions EVERY year.

    We knew this was coming 50 yrs ago. We knew, and we did nothing to stop it. Now we, as a society, are paying the price. We need to STOP the cause (drinking heavily during pregnancy) and that takes education, support and care.

    The price will continue to rise.
