If you're concerned about production not increasing this month, just consider the fact that you know it's because they're tweaking and fine tuning everything, not because no progress is being made. If they just wanted to produce as much as possible, they obviously could produce more than the previous month by simply doing the same thing as the previous month and not bothering to fine tune anything, putting that time instead into production.
Production at this time is literally just a byproduct of getting everything set up. They're not sitting there with a mindset of 'let's produce as much as possible', they're working on 'let's get this thing full set up and ready to go'. You don't measure progress on an incomplete project by how much time you spent testing it. The more time you're spending working on and improving it, the less time you're spending on testing it.
Moving to 24 hour trial runs of full continuous production (for those who may not know, continuous vs semi continuous vs batch production does not refer to how many hours per day it runs) is a fantastic development. It may or may not end up meaning we produce more this month and that doesn't really matter, but I'm guessing those 24 hour trials will produce more so to the people just measuring 'progress' based on 'amount produced' will probably feel slightly happier next month, however, we'll only see the big jump in production figures when they say 'okay, great, it's all set and tweaked, let's go!'. Before that we have no reason to care about monthly quantity.
It should by now be obvious that the permit is pending on... ahem... voluntary payments. They can't say that so 'clarification of hydrological blah blah' will suffice for the public explanation, I'm not surprised some people said I was crazy early last year when I said we'd get the permit around the time we started production and money changed hands, but c'mon, if you can't see it by now your eyes are closed. If they were going to deny it they would have long ago. If they needed clarification of something it wouldn't have taken years to ask and certainly wouldn't have taken management long at all to clarify anything.
We've just started the half of the year which will be AGY's most exciting ever.
