Russia/USSR spent decades granting specialised university scholarships with living allowances to countless numbers of people from Africa and other developing nations including India, educating them in primarily STEM fields but especially mechanical engineering and similar disciplines to help assist these countries in building up their economies. There are 1000's of top level executives and government officials in these countries who owe their positions and status to the goodwill and assistance offered by Russia. Of course the Western media never reports on this which explains why so many such as yourself have a misguided and ignorant view of events and situations. Keep reading the NYT and stay smugly un/misinformed.
