I had been told that the mining breakthrough was to be announced yesterday at 2.30pm. It did not happen. Obviously they had to do further tweaking of the deal. However, knowing what has been announced today in mainstream media, and by going to what the Opposition has been speculating, it seems that the "big news" are imminent.
My own speculation is that Jules will announce the tax deal and an early election at the same time.
This should spark up the market a bit. Keep in mind the Yanks and FRI tough!
