Because he was about the biggest holder at the time.
And he stayed on the BOD, while O'brien and Evans were moved on.
Stands to reason he was AT LEAST supportive, if not central to the pivot - having lost confidence in African lithium being supported by offtakers. The evidence they'd had to that time was admittedly apparently supportive of that stance, but c'mon, could they not look a few years down the road?? That's what I and a few others were doing when buying sub 10 cents.

Disastrous few years for BB with CLA also a cluster-F - though not sure he lost too much on it himself, I wasn't following the company much. The pivot to the gold and subsequent dilution here must equate to $60 mill for him by the time LLL reaches full value. Ouch. Mind you what it has cost me in relative terms is more painful than what it's cost him - him being already very well off.

All just how I see it, and IMHOO. Could be different I guess, but I don't see how the pivot was voted on without BB being behind it.
I'd be interested to hear how it went down from him one day over a beer. Nobody is right all the time, so no hard feelings, but geeze being right that time from him woulda made us all pretty well off by now, and in the near future too.
