I partly agree especially with "too many people" - it's a balancing act. But you can't have it all one way or the other. I was commenting on all the hyperbole from posters and their links to sites full of misinformation and made-up garbage. But the latest situation in France was mainly due to the abuse of social media to orchestrate this national mobilisation. If it's not a racial issue, next time it'll be some other issue like economic or law reforms - this is a habitual occurrence and embedded in the country's fabric. Getting back to the balancing act... it's a matter of balancing immigration, economic growth and the status quo. Australians who have been here for many generations won't do the jobs that migrants will do or don't have the skills to do them -- how about our GP shortages? So you can't stop immigration if you want to keep the economy turning over ... and with the cost of living going up, I don't see outsourcing slowing any time soon.

you can stop immigration just say no as for the jobs i worked in orchards for over 20 yewars its not that people cant do it they dont want to since when is that a reason to get welfare how many that come into the country actually come here for the benifits we are destroying a great country
