I think you have misunderstood the arguments here.
I am simply comparing the 2 situations with same logic here, focusing on patients willingness.
- if surgery is last resort, IHL veterans said not all patients willing to get anaesthesia and cut open.
- In PTSD, if psychedelic treatment is last resort, IHL veterans said forking out $30k to sort out a lifetime issue is small fries.
Hope you can comprehend the arguments standpoint now.
