The low in 1987 was 2 days before the new moon.

08/07/10 would be 4 days before the mew moon.

Of course this may be just the training run so we get sucked in later in the year.

As you can see from the 1987 chart, the same pattern occured twice. So up to a day or two before the crash it looked like it was just a repeat of earlier in the year and the market would go up.

So that could be what we are doing now, just a training run.
