RAP didn't have any funds left, if they had even just $10M then they wouldn't have accepted the T/O bid (as the downrampers said they had a "cosy" job). I recall someone said the board had to accept the T/O bid otherwise Pfizer wouldn't have made an offer after a posters asked why didn't the board just announced they received a T/O bid but rejected the offer which other companies have done previously.
