re: Ann: CQT: Supplementary Bidder's Stat... had a surveyer on behalf of NQM call me the other day to see how I would vote, told her it was opportunistic of CQT and the bid was to low for me to consider.
However CQT seems to shown some smarts with the low ball offer and have been wondering when a corporate raider would make a play on NQM given its low cap and potential.
NQMs low cap is mainly its own fault handing out a dividend and then asking for a placement a few months later shows corporate incompetance, also their plant throughput has been less than spectacular given the huge plant they have available, both with the actual massive mill and mechanised mining equipment. Blaming the weather for lack of production in a UG mine gets old real quick.
Credit has to be given to them for their exploration achievments.
I have a hope a third party will come to start a bidding war.
My gut feel is its time the MD and the board of NQM were relieved of their positions they seem nice people but not too bright or capeable
