    China's fault for sure (see graph). But because we are to blame for buying their stuff we must all do our part to be punished.

    I'm guessing that is the logic, which disregards our govts hand in allowing/encouraging the situation to occur. It's the politicians who should be made accountable for this, if it is a problem.

    This Hadely Centre graph is the only real indicator of change IMO, because the other records are at best 1880 origin and prone to manipulation. The old chestnut of industrial revolution being the root cause doesn't seem to stack up, given the UK was the power house of activity in that era.
