Perhaps, but again why ask for another week to look at the books? If Aspen wanted to damage Sigma further they would have been better served dumping the books back at them after two weeks with a 'thanks but we won't be buying this heap of dung" letter.
Nah..still think they are being opportunistic and won't pass this up. IF GSK can make $100 million from $1.8 billion in turnover (5.5% profit margin) in tight lines like Panadol and in super tough market, then I suspect Aspen know they can do similar with Sigma's turnover.
And in terms of a falling sp...I can see why it is better if the papers reported on Tuesday ..'Aspen offers 60c or 50% above the closing price, as against how Aspen offers 60c or 20% above the closing price of 50c. 50% sounds like they are being generous whereas 20% sounds stingy.
