I get that Star has problems. But what i dont understand is the lagality of the whole tax thing.
Fact - NSW Agreed to a 20 year tax deal
FACT - NSW govt revoked the deal without consultation and implemented a new take on tax
FACT - The New NSW Government postponed the tax
SO if my understanding is correct, with no proper consultation, you cannot just revoke a deal, there are legal implications. Why cant the STAR casino take the NSW Govt to Court and Sue them for the tax. What am I missing here? If I owned Star _ I would have pursued the legal side of things
