As a matter of fact these days it really doesn’t matter which sector you are trying to develop, it’s the fact that the NEW WORLD wants confirmation that no goats, homeless people, possums, wallabies, will be hurt if you want to get into operation, let alone production.

In my last property I wanted to put a large deck out towards the native bush. They wanted environmental reports on the effect of the decks drainage on two marked trees on the property, then they wanted engineering reports on the effects on the basin we sat on with further environmental reports on the creek on our property nearly 100m down the site. I wasn’t building a bloody apartment block, just a deck that has ample drainage, it’s a bloody deck.

At the end of the day I built it anyway above code and it was never a problem. When the buyer of the property questioned the lack of consent on the the deck I said take it or leave it mate, built to code and no discount to you or anybody for else. He ending up paying another 100k for the property as somebody else became interested whilst he was whinging over minor details.

Yes he was a privileged GenY. The less often they get their way the better.

Hang tight team, shit what’s another 6-12 months to get the results you dreamed about 6+ years ago.

Yes I did offload a bit at 74.c but it was more of a necessity than anything else, core holding sitting there.
