    nothing wrong with scepticism..... as long as it doesn't creep into denialism.

    yes there are under-grad and even post-grad students who want their work published and seek journals that don't comply with peer reviewing their work.

    its also worthwhile therefore to ensure one notes science that has been peer reviewed to ensure appropriate academic standards are achieved. understanding data analysis is equally important. confidence in science comes from scientific method (sceptical) and factual data collection and analysis.
