It's a well worn path of DFS, ESIA, FEED, financing, FID, Construction, Commisioning, production. Funnily enough, FEED was never mentioned by the company until very recently. Apparently you can construct a plant WITHOUT having done the Engineering and Design

As for milestones that are hardest to hit?
12months for ESIA? Plausible given other timelines. However given no other company is reinjection billions of litres of brine back into a salar using an experimental process, one would assume approval would take at little longer

6 months for FEED? Unlikely. 6-12 months more likely

9 months for Financing? Pfft, who knows. This can vary widely.

However I agree with Duggie. They don't have a power solution. Assuming they do need 120MW of power, then an onsite power solution is a project in its own right. It always was. Likewise, as Duggie mentioned, connecting to a grid 300km away, is also a significant infrastructure project in its own right.

The company is stating first lithium carbonate Q3 2027. The major infrastructure dependencies for that to occur are
1) DLE + HCL + Carbonate plants constructed + commissioned
2) Wellfield + reinjection wellfield constructed + commisioned
3) Lilac bead plant constructed + commissioned
4) Grid power constructed + commissioned.

The Kachi project is in fact 4 major infrastructure projects. In order to hit Q3 2027 ( 4 years away), all of these projects have to go through processes of Feasibility->Approvals->Funding->Construction->Commission.

If any one of these fail.........they whole thing fails.

Who the hell is funding this convoluted mess?
