RE: Slipstream tenement 830695/2018. There has been basically no movement on the tenements (from an admin perspective) since 2020/2021. But if I look at the processes from that time period, there's a number of docos suggesting they gave up their research permits and this was approved by the mining agency (so I'm actually unsure why Slipstream is still listed as the registered owner of the research permit on Sigmine).

The absence of any processes for the Slipstream tenements since ~2021 lends weight to the idea that Slipstream is either in administration or has already folded.

Here is a translation from one of the docos:

Subject: Communicates RESEARCH PERMIT RESIGNATION Ref.: DNPM Process No. 830.659/2018 – Permit No. 454 published on 02/25/2019 expiring on 02/25/2022 SLIPSTREAM PARTICIPAÇÕES LTDA, CNPJ 26.230.157/0001-05 holder of the aforementioned process in the research authorization phase for gold ore in the municipality of Salinas in the state of Minas Gerais, hereby communicates the RENUNCTION OF THE RESEARCH PERMIT, which is valid until 02/25/2022. The reason for this request was the completion of the non-viable potential of gold ore in this area. Pursuant to Item I of Article 98 of Ordinance No. 155/2016 of the Director General of the DNPM, we are exempt from presenting the final research report. We ask that, from this moment on, we be exempt from the collection of the next ANNUAL FEES PER HECTARE (TAH) with maturities in July 2020 and July 2021, referring to the 2nd (second) and 3rd (third) years of validity of the research permit . I can't wait for this one to be approved
