The falls across the board are syntomatic of liquidity issues.

The big fall in gold was an ever increasing sign of growing liquidity problems.

The driver Spanish bond purchases perhaps?

I suspect but have no proof of central bank selling coupled with the purchase of futures.

Gold found its floor. buying on weakness. For every sell there is a buy and golds buyers are remain stronger despite the selling pressure.
