I am thinking ol Mel may be a little affected by a messiah complex ... having led the life he has, made the money he has and no doubt rarely been thwarted in his wants.
Not having a go at him over that ... but I reckon his behviour is nothing an effective psychologist couldn't sort out over 6-12 months.
