gyro, You can't have it both ways: either "the message IS getting through" and the people are angry, or the message is NOT getting through so the people are happy. Stupid argument to make. However, I do hate the silencing of newspapers, though this is exactly what's also happening here, in Australia and to an even larger extent in the USA. They're not silenced by decree but by complicity and collusion; by obbeying the voice of the big corporations and by the very expense of the business. Newspapers, by and large, are the tools of the big business or big governments. No news in that.
