Good reading this morning, this is a good forum, one of the best. Thanks everyone.
Very thoughful views on the options, which, to me are the best part of this journey. The fact that they have a use by date is the exciting factor. They have to be treated very differently to how we handle the shares. Given that they do travel mainly in the shadow of the shares.
BUT, IMO, THE big difference is the way their prices react, percentage wise, they PAY much better when things are movung in the right direction, with positive volume. That's where Mark's (IDEAL, and I stress IDEAL) approach, has the most positive appeal. IMO, Options should be traded much more regularly than the shares, the percentages enable that. But, should not just dump them until they've reached the last resort, even then, they are NOT DEAD AND BURIED. They still can be exercised, but, who would if the SP is still around .03?
So, there is still PLENTY of time to get NEWS that can jump that SP very quickly, even at the last minute of their life!! What company wouldn't be busting to get that free cash??!!
So, my (IDEAL) plan is to trade the options, but not lose the exposure, all proceeds would go into buying the equivalent number of shares at the going price. It ALL depends on market factors, so, one must keep the prices at their fingertips and take action ASap. Hopefully, this is ALL just Hypothetical and the SP will resolve all that pressure!!! C'mon Idan. Starting with the June QR!!
