Thanks for sharing the link Cridz. It is important to note that De Beers does not cut and polish their own rough diamonds. They are purchasing polished diamonds and jewelry from the open market.
Furthermore, De Beers aggregates their rough diamonds from different sources and sells mixed origin parcels to the midstream. Burgundy will have a transparent Canadian origin story from mines to market, cutting & polishing in-house or I assume some kind of strategic arrangement with the Choron Group.
