The upper 500m section I know they said they couldn't measure it at a rate worthwhile if they recovered 40 barrels in 5 hours it's still 8 barrels an hour or almost 200 barrels a day without sub pumps. They might poo pah it but it bodes well for Section 1B onwards where the pressure and API should increase!
That joke about getting an old rickety rig to do the shallow stuff adds traction now. What would we need to wait another 12 months for a shallow oil farming campaign to be approved
I also thought this is the stuff they burn in their power stations heavy crude so if varadero is declining output this would be a good stop gap for them it'd also be a massive pool of oil close to surface.
- Drill down 500m x 10 + wells - Frac if it's not too controversial for Cuba - Put them on pump happy days
