Yep. It’s pretty basic math too…

    100,000 x 1c = $1,000.
    100,000 x 2c = $2,000.
    100,000 x 3c = $3,000.
    100,000 x 4c = $4,000.
    100,000 x 5c = $500 according to these guys?

Now, I’m the one misleading people? wtf.

Anyway, my point is, buying into stocks early / at a low price, is for the sole purpose of increasing your multiplier & reaping the rewards as the share price increases…

    October 2019 …. 0.10c shares. March 2022 …. 0.70c shares.

It happened. Lots of people enjoyed it & made big money (if they sold).

We’re now back down at the October 2019 share price level. Disregard “market cap” and focus purely on the unit quantities vs stock price for this scenario.

You recently buy 100,000 @ 0.10c ….. at 0.12c (happened in a day) you’ve made $2,000. The “long term” view looks good. If it gets to 0.20c (not an unreasonable target) it would be $10,000 profit made.

Then, all of a sudden, consolidation.

You now own only 1,000 units @ $8.00ea

You now have to hope that $8 price goes up to $18 to make the same profit of $10,000. Much harder…

For those who were “happy to be buying at low levels” again, this consolidation sucks.

dollar for dollar, your investment portion of the company remains the same after the conversion, yes, sure. But, it will now take a LOT more market movement to make the same amount of money, and therefore your “long term view” timeline, also just got made a lot longer….

For those who are in the red right now (say your average price is 0.20c). Let me ask you the question….. Did 0.20c seem that far away until today? Not really. The news we have all been waiting on should easily have put us back over 0.20c in no time…

Now, after this consolidation, you will have x100 less units, valued at $8 each (to begin with) Does $16 seem further away than 0.20c did prior?

I dunno, maybe I’m the only one who feels this way - but the risk/reward of penny stocks is the massive percentage gains that can be had when things go well.

This now feels like owning a Bluechip (without the income or dividends) and praying for the takeover offer to make a decent profit.

Anyway, these are just my thoughts/feelings towards this news - each to their own. I’ll stick around and see what comes of it, I’m just a bit disappointed the profit prospects / goals of my own strategy/plans have now been shifted.
