You are wrong! The military forces can order anything they like, with or without an NSN, provided it is approved by their Commanders. I know because I have done it, many times over 30 years service. They wouldn't be very efficient if they had to wait for an NSN to be allocated before ordering a product. And just because an item has an NSN doesn't mean it will be ordered. I bet not many female personnel order the NSN Tampon, they will choose their favourite brand!
I am not dissing Droneshield, just that this ann isn't really price sensitive. Firm orders are price sensitive.
