From a view point of the slow Stochastic oscillator, a bottom is more likely within one-four days as you said. It may be a short term though. But my first indicator is the gradient of the (highs/lows) for the (down/up)trend, respectively. I usually look for a change of the gradient for my trading opportunity and others are for the double check. It's very simple to recognise. The gradient of the XJO downtrend hasn't changed yet.
