Hi all Reggie you remind me of that guy on TV, forgot his name maybe Richard? something? Oh yeah Montgomery I think.

Anyway he mainly talks about the intrinsic value of companies, and I can never understand why? For instance he probably values BHP at around $20 - $25.

Now I'm sure he's a very smart fella, and looking at all the facts and figures including past, present & future projections I'm sure his figures are very accurate.

But is the value of BHP really $20 - $25? Yesterday's closing price for BHP was $36.98.

In fact the current value is $36.98, because that's what someone is willing to pay for it.

SSN current value is .05 because people are willing to pay that price at the moment. Not being critical of others, it's just how I see it.

I had a vase given to me by my Grandmother, had it valued at an antique shop, the guy reckoned I should get $1000 at auction at least. I put it on fleabay & got $450, because at the end of the day $450 is what someone was willing to pay for it.
