There's a lot to unpack in that comment but it seems to boil down to "what's going to be different this time".

Liquidity on the nasdaq was always a known limitation from day dot. As was the need to eventually issue more shares to facilitate SP appreciation in the US. So, with that in mind, is this move really that surprising? It's not entirely out of the blue.

"The argument that the ASX doesn’t “understand” the news" is perfectly valid when you compare our current value to that of our US based peers. Is there really much more evidence required?

I think the real question is whether this move does in fact make it easier for US investors to purchase our shares. On this point I would trust that Joel knows best based on the conversations he (and other experienced BOD members) are having. I'm also willing to bet the 160M traded last week didn't just happen randomly and perhaps was the result of a large investor finally negotiating a decent purchase of ADRs. I expect JL knows a bit more on this than what's been made public.

You've made a big assumption regarding the $1 delisting threshold, which has put a negative anchor on the entire comment. Whether that's part of their reasoning for this decision, we don't know. In the end, the only thing that actually matters is that the company continues to release positive updates, in line with their clinical trial roadmap. If you believe they will, then we're golden. If not, we're screwed. I see the nasdaq listing as only proving increased upside to the former because the truth is, it's the same distance to $0 if it doesn't work out, no matter where we list.
